Jupiter and Saturn will align for the first time in 400 years on December 21.

Stargazers who look to the sky on Monday night, December 21, will be rewarded with the Great Conjunction – the first time in 400 years that Saturn and Jupiter will be aligned in the night sky. The closeness to Christmas has dubbed it the “Christmas Star.”
